Driving Test Too Easy?

Is the Driving Test too easy?

Lots of mutterings in government about this, a recent House of Commons select committee has called for tougher tests. Mike Penning roads minister told the committee that the current driver training was not adequate.

Two totally different subjects, the test is one thing and driver training is another. You pass your test at whatever age and that’s you on the road until you are 70. We live in a world where things are ever changing at a very fast pace, and life on the roads is no exception, mostly for the better. The DSA motto is safe driving for life, how can you do this without continual training. In most jobs we are encouraged / obliged to take CPD (continual professional development) so why is driving any different?
