Are Intensive Courses Unsafe?

Posted:

The association of British Insurers has called for a ban on intensive learning to drive courses for those under the age of 25. The ABI is concerned that these types of courses are unsuitable for producing safe drivers due to the fact that they don’t provide learner drivers a wide enough experience in a variety of different road conditions.  It also is supporting the call for a 1 year learning period before under 25’s can take a test together with calling on the government to overhaul the way young people are taught to drive.
