Changes To Driving Test
Lots of media hype a few weeks ago about changes to the driving test. Here are few facts, these are from a meeting I attended given by Assistant Chief Driving Examiner.
Yes the driving test in its current form is under review for change, and trials will be undertaken in the next couple of months. The changes are to bring the driving test to be more realistic with today’s driving conditions.
The changes may include dropping some of the more traditional manoeuvres such as ‘Turn in the Road’ and ‘Left Reverse’ in favour of parking in bay’s forwards and parallel park on the right hand side of the road. The ‘Independent Divining’ section of the test may be increased from 10 to 20 minutes using a ‘Sat Nav’. Driving Lessons Stoke on Trent www.maxsmasterclass.com.
