Max's Master Class Driving School Terms and Conditions

 

 

          1.Driving Licence and Eyesight

           

                 The learner must hold a current, valid driving license (provisional or full), which  must  be produced on or in advance of their first lesson. The learner must also check that they can read a number plate at a distance of 20 meters (i.e. 67 feet - about 5 car lengths) with glasses if normally worn.

            2.    The Lesson or Driving Test


a) Bookings

Can be made preferably by phone contact. Alternatively, e mail, text, or via facebook are alternatives.  Cancelation of an arranged appointment needs 48 hours notice by phone failure to do so will result in payment for the cancelled lesson. Any block bookings and or payment upfront for lessons are non refundable due to pupil non attendance.


b) Use of the vehicle for a lesson or test 
In the interests of safety to both the pupil and public, I reserve the right to withhold the use of a car for or any lesson or  test if, in my opinion, you are not in a fit state to drive or your driving is actually or potentially dangerous

 c) Test cancellation
Three clear working days’ notice of cancellation or  postponement is required by the DSA. Failure to provide the required notice will result in the loss of your test fee. Your instructor cannot be held responsible for any postponement or cancellation of tests by the DSA. Cost of car for test and 1 hour lesson prior to test is chargeable.

                3.  Payments

Either, cash, cheque ,direct debit, internet transfer or payments via PayPal are accepted. Payable at the start of the lesson.

                4.Punctuality


                  In their own interests all pupils are advised to be punctual for their lesson   apointments. I will endeavor to be at the arrange time within +/- 10 minutes. I will wait for 15 minutes, after which time if you do not arrive for the arranged lesson the full fee will be charged.     

               5. Your Statutory Rights

                 Nothing in these terms and conditions will reduce your statutory  rights relating  to faulty or misdescribed goods or services provided. We have a statutory obligation to provide you with goods and services fit for the purpose for which they were bought and as described. If you have any doubts about your statutory rights please contact your local Trading Standards Department or Citizen's Advice Bureau
